What is crazy is earlier this year I tried to trade my 2023 Chevrolet 2500HD High country gas with 42,000 miles in o new 2024 exactly the same specs. They all wanted to give me $50,000 for my truck and wanted mid to upper 70s for theirs. Some of the deals were 75 cents a mile. Just a couple of years back we were making this same trade for 12-14,000. I parked the 3/4 and bought a new small pickup outright for not much more than they wanted to trade. Now the 3/4 only gets used for 3/4 things and all the miles get put on a little truck getting 27 MPG. I've had 15 new 3/4 trucks over the last 20 years but they have priced me out of the market.

Yep my dad’s old 96 half ton does 90% of stuff. Only 130k miles keeps my work 1 ton under 100k miles. Wife has crew cab for trips. Tool for job.
