Iowa
I've not noticed mistaking my age very much one way or another, but seem to have some difficulty when making assumptions about the age of others.

I was using the restroom before leaving a fast food place a few months ago. An elderly man with a walker was having difficulty navigating the stall door and restroom door, so I held the doors open for him. An old woman was waiting for him outside the restroom. Yes, you probably see where this is going. I helped them navigate the double doors on the way out. They thanked me for the help and I wished him and his wife to have a nice day. The old woman's mood seemed to change a little when she told me she was his daughter. Note to self: Just say "Have a nice Day", nothing more. I probably ruined her day.
