| Gerringhof originally designed them for twin rows. Biggest difference is there are two sprockets on the bottom gathering chain drive. This helps in down corn & suppose to be easier on the stalks going in, doesn't whip them back & forth.Rollers & deck plates have extra hard facing & snouts have stainless steel wear straps. Both deck plates are hydraulic, u like most heads that only one deck plate is hyd. We've ran one for 3 years, we don't have twin rows. Unless customer wants a Northstar our dealer orders all Patriots.
