South Central MN | Have only ran a gt twin chop. Love the head. The cushioned plates are the real deal and the slip clutches on every component work extremely well. Twice now we've gotten too close to property markers and eaten steel t-posts with it. Only damage was to a single set of chopper ades. Replaced them and was up running in 10 minutes with zero damage otherwise.
One downfall is that the paint quality on ours was not good. Very easy to strip paint off accidentally while power washing. Another is that due to the spring loaded deck plates, it tends to build a ton of fluff on the frame of the head. Doesn't affect performance but does affect visibility at the end of the day. | |
