NW Ohio, near Findlay | For the older group, go with a 4 post. Reason, don't have to get down and adjust the arms, and so many are hard to line up, one of the worst is a Chrysler mini vans with stow and go fold down seats with the drop well. Less risk of ever dropping car. Bad thing about a four post, takes up more room in shop.
I like my 2 post, for changing tires, brake jobs, works great. How ever with a 4 post, you have room to lay your tools on the steel beams. Jacking up each wheel to work on, kind of a pain, but that have nice little jacks too. Another advantage of a 4 post, doors will open wide and easy to work under dash of car if car at correct height. | |
