Hooker Twp,Ne | Did some internet search and it seems China puts a 25% tariff on U.S. soybeans coming into the country. Zero tariff on Brazil beans. They bought twice as much from Brazil then the U.S. last year. Don’t know if shipping cost is charged 25% also?? But 12$ beans would add $3 extra tariff cost. Now with Brazil beans added to that mix that averages the total cost of beans to $1 tariff on average. Dollar exchange is also,a factor. Just some facts to ponder | |
