We bought a 330 a year or two after they came out. Intentions was to plant behind it but only did one year. As corn was coming up you could see the direction the 330 was ran by the color / height of the corn due to basket bounce. You could also see the row unit arms bounce behind the 330 but not the field cultivator. Tried speeds from 6-10 mph but didn’t eliminate basket bounce. Was obvious at night as headlights shined across parked ground as you turned. After that pretty much regulated to working fall corn stalks.

Basket is built light & doesn’t like rocks & we were allaying replacing basket bearings. Traded it last year for a Krause z8010 Excellerator. JMO, but the Excellerator is built heavier and doesn’t have the basket bounce the 330 had. Also, wing angle is adjustable on the Excellerator as is down pressure on the wings & spider wheels.

We’ve incorporated cover crops & wheat with the Excellerator the last two falls, did an excellent job. We un ~8.2mphand get no wing or basket bounce. We haven’t tried planting behind it yet.
