| Used +150k $25k? Or brand new $50k?
Of course looking at private sales on Craigslist FB market. Deals are out there if you have the money, are prepared with bank.
I have no connection to dealer. I bought a used half ton for FIL from them decade back.
Contact area dealers. Via E-mail. List requirements *3/4 or 1 ton if that’s a option* SRW, 4x4, gas/dsl, reg cab, 8’ box…. Then preferred stuff. *brand, motor but if price is right* A detailed e-mail with no phone, name. Say you are hoping to stop by a certain day next week. Knowing options, prices. That you are planning to buy by mid December.
Let’s sales folk work for you. I say I will consider low milage used.
But deals are from private sellers. They bought too much truck, dealership offers $8k below what the dealer will sell it at.
I figure out my price. It’s below asking but I think fair. Likely I am higher then I could get but.
