I farm 110 acres, pecans, peaches and fruits and vegetables.
I am 4th generation on our farm and nobody in 4 generations has ever driven a combine. There is alot more farming out there than row crop farming. And i would say any vegetable or fruit farming is way harder than row crop farming.

+ 100.... But 99% of farmers want to run big combines, planters and 4wd's ..ego thing...and your business is a lot of manual labor and managing labor

There can't be another industry that has the interior hate like ag? We are all in ag production and yet bad mouthing each other. This has to be one of the stupidest comments I've seen you make..... i could say maybe you are just jealous of guys that do run big equipment? That's an equally stupid comment. Always had to turn into a contest of who works harder. And to take it one step further if someone makes a living and is happy not working as hard who is the smart/dumb one? Rant over......
