That is how I have always weaned, Turn out on grass after 5 days of lockup on hay inside an iron corall, then they go to barbed wire and hot fence, I’d love to keep them in corall longer, but they get sick and stampede into the corners at night and die,

Once they are out in a section, only small bunches spook, but not the entire herd., after 2 days on grass they are gentle a milk cows,
