Those "conservation practices" are well and good unless you have the government telling you you can't make improvements to your land to make them work properly. In my case, that would be drainage and the Swampbuster laws and wetland easements from US fish and wildlife. Get rid of those, maybe I can do no-till and cover crops without any issue.
