Cherokee iowa | I’m ready to buy bawlers again! I must not be the only one. Feeders on a move. I take for granted how easy it is to buy corn with basis plays to feed. Now figuring out how much I could spend on feeders. Give and take push and pull. Markets are taking no prisoners. I see April of 26 says my cattle should be just as strong as next year. What will make it flip? We could bring in more imports which is already record highs but that just puts a band aid on the price in the store. When will we get some assurance that we can expand the herd without other countries taking advantage of our dollar? Nothing better then buying high priced cows to build the herd just to have a competitive country drop pounds on our markets. Weak I call the national beef security that our country has. Need more hands working not less on domestic supplies. What happens if we go to a real war and can’t get imports. Doubt the USA citizens wanna pay $15 a pound for hamburger. Wow the powers that have been got this country in a all out battle to save the republic. Inflation hasn’t really even set in yet has it? Any ways Godspeed to all that battle day to day.
