Today, yes. Milk is high and feed is low this year. Long term trend is not as good, but I believe there's a path. Return per acre is better on dairy than on crops.


I'm not so sure on that. No matter what size the dairy is most of the dairymen I know seem to have their face right in the fan at all times.

There are a few around here that are extremely short on labor, crops are put up late, not sprayed, planted or harvested on time and I can only imagine what the bulk tank is doing. I honestly have no idea how they are making it because what they have for facilities is not what I would consider low cost.
