The scene involving the rancher who wanted a settlement for burnt land was a throw back to when a landman sat at our dining room table and said our lawyers are better than you can ever hire. We went through hell and high water between pipeline landmen and gas company landmen. They are all highly paid liars. The one landsman said I will send the guy who will make you sign. I said send them I've just doubled what I need to have and they always come back with the imminent domain bs. I'll quit now or I'll be on here all night. | |
