northeast ohio | Considering updating a couple older Trimble displays with GFX series. We currently have them running EZPilot’s but would like to go to Autopilot Motor Drive with the switch over. Also considering that the future might include tractors with CAN AP options. Looking at the unlock descriptions found online, I’m confused about the differences between APMD and CAN unlocks. APMD says it will do both motor drive and CAN whereas CAN (priced slightly higher) is unclear if it will do AMPD.
Will AMPD do CAN steering if the tractor is properly unlocked?
Will CAN run a SAM200 or 300 motor without unlocking it to full AP?
