I have figured it at .15-.16on a per head day basis but my numbers are not far from yours. I was figuring the hay grinder, mixer and tractor, loader. We are running modern but not new equipment and bought with the main goal of longevity. Hopefully by the time it wears out the residual value will makeup the increase in costs for new equipment. I think the biggest factor is how many head your feeding. Double the number you feed and the interest cost on the equipment is unchanged. Certainly good things to consider when wondering where the money you should’ve made vanished to.
