Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio | When I first got crop damage permits it killed hundreds of deer with a .22mag. Not at 200 yards. But the Op said 200 normal shot. If you can’t kill a deer at 200 yards with a .223 you need to practice more. I did graduate from .22 mag to a borrowed.223 for a few years. Then got a .243. .243 is very effective out to 500 yards here.
