Croswell, Michigan		If you can swing it and it doesn’t hurt you financially do it . Over the last 8 years I have done a lot of land swapping to shrink the circle that I farm in. Gain a bunch in the process but it sure is hard to beat being close to home. Lots of options once you have it, hire what you don’t want to do, have it custom farmed or rent it out in the corn years or all the time, whatever suits you best.
