Safety certainly is one of the reasons that current ethics standards forbid the kind of study he wants.
The placebo control group isn't protected against disease. He wants the studies to run for years. That requires a significant chunk of unvaccinated kids susceptible to the classic childhood diseases. You might like that idea. Ethics boards don't. |
