Well I watched Zach Johnson’s most recent YouTube video this evening. Haven’t had time to check out the website but supposedly there is a list of people who were nominated to be apart of not sure how to word it but essentially advisors for this subject. He was asking if people wanted to vote for him so he could be apart of that task force to make sure it’s not a one size fit all and farmers still have a voice going forward while doing a better job with our food and health.

Yes there are things that need to be improved because our food system is an absolute mess no doubt about it but I think that’s more so from the middleman between the farmer and the consumer. We are not sure what’s gonna happen but a lot of you are speculating based on fears…. Let’s gather the facts first and be level headed and prepared.

I’ll say this I’m one of the worst people when it comes to over worrying and always assuming the worst is gonna happen because sometimes that’s just my luck. So when I can see you guys are over reacting based on what information?? Yes we have a history of peoples view points and beliefs… but that’s based on the information that they have been given… this is where we need to stand up as farmers and share our side of the story and why we do what we do. Otherwise it’s gonna be like the political extremes… only the loudest people will have a say.

It’s all speculation at this point. If you don’t like it stand up and go to Washington

Good post. You're way of thinking is where I'm landing on this subject.
