Kids eat what they are used to at home and parents put convenience over healthy. Why food inflation? Look at the increase in processed/convenience food. Example: the other day school lunch was baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade bun—it was pretty good—Kids hated it and food waste was much larger than usual.
