Heated / air conditioner cabs, ability to go all day or night in comfort instead of plowing with a stocking hat and five jackets. Once you can do that, then pick up another quarter / farm. In some areas no till, less time working ground and thus more time to run more acres. In my area getting away from plowing corn stalks which takes forever, and using a disc ripper.
Your post reminded me of a neighbor who always said if there had been a law banning headlights on tractors we could have avoided a lot of this. |
