| Where do we draw the line?
Some seem to look back at old times fondly, forgetting all the difficulties that came with it. Sure, your grandparents raised a dozen kids off of some acres and cows. They also worked themselves to the bone and loved with the bare minimum. Heck, the probably got some government food, too.
Open station everything, "simple" equipment that may have been easy to work on, because it broke all the time and you couldn't afford to have someone else fix it.
I'm not praising all the new stuff, but most of us live in luxury that our grandparents couldn't fathom. | |
