Yes it was and still is quite an accomplishment that we pay dearly for. The elites have no worries but can enact these poor policies on us serfs. If we have to meet our deductible and add in the premium, it's over $28000 not including copays and prescriptions. Keeps us from losing the farm, but takes us longer to pay for it! We tried Medishare at a large savings but when we needed it most for a major out of network surgery, we nearly got put into collections before they decided to pay. Lack of action and poor customer service is not a good feeling when you need what you've paid for. It was too bad because I believe the idea of sharing is Christian and biblical, but was poorly executed. Hopefully Medicare works out for you, and you rarely have to use it!
