Subject: RE: Aetna/CVS vs Blue Cross

Had a friend suggest Aetna when I had mentioned the high premiums of my current insurer, but don't know a thing about them. I am currently switching to Blue Cross, a little cheaper than my current ins. and about twice the doctors and hospitals covered. My insurance cost went up close to 400% in about 5 years when the govt. went to mandatory ins.. I was insuring my family of six for around $10,000 a year, it went to around $39,000 a year (two $7000 plus deductibles) , now it is nearly that much for my wife and I, no major issues. I feel for the young people that that have big payments to make on a farm, if they make enough to make the payment, they probably get no help or tax credit on the insurance, just takes away incentive for them to try to work hard and get ahead in my opinion.
