There are still a good number of GS2 and GS3 series displays with AutoTrac SF1 Activations. If the display says AutoTrac SF1 only then SF1 is the highest level of signal it will AutoTrac with

GS2 series displays (2600/1800) can no longer have activations added to them as of Nov 1 2024. If you show AutoTrac SF1 only you're stuck on SF1.

GS3 series displays (2630/GS3 CommandCenter) can still be upgraded from AutoTrac SF1 to AutoTrac any signal level by an John Deere dealership for $250

If your display shows AutoTrac SF2 or just AutoTrac Activation then you are good to use any signal level of GPS receiver SF1/2/3/RTK/mRTK/SF-RTK

Gen 4 and G5 displays (4640/4600/4200/G5/G5 Plus) no longer differentiate signal level by the AutoTrac license/activation

The accuracy is in the receiver, doesn't matter what display you have in the cab. So yes you can move that around machine to machine through the seasons.

So if you want the 7000 to have better signal, easiest is the SF-RTK. No activations or anything needed on the receiver or display, just $1500/yr on the receiver subscription. And you might get a discount for the first year since you haven't had it on there yet. So more like $1k the first year.

To run better signal on the 3000 or 6000 it'll cost more since they need the permanent activation(s) first and then subscription.
