Subject: RE: RFK jr thoughts on Ag issues

n. Illinois
RFK Jr. is correct in what happened in North Carolina with Wendell Murphy being in the NC Senate and getting the lax laws passed. He also sat on Smithfields Board of Directors. The end result is the lost of the independent hog producer in this country which has been bad for the Rural communities that all of those small-mid Size Farrow to finish operations used to support with their business. He is right about the producers who have built those hog barns. In the end they have/will be nothing more than serf's to the corporate Hog companies IE Cargill etc. The day will come when we will over built the hog barns and then the corporate CFO's will own you as there will be plenty of excess barns and you will be forced to accept an ever smaller piece of the proverbial pie while suffering with higher costs of production which will not be covered.
