North Central Iowa | Yeah, I could see that happening. I have 80 ft headlands with a 20 ft corn head, 30 ft bean head. Defiantly should play around with the turnpath settings. The default ones are pretty good, but I usually ended up tweaking them some. One complaint I have is the relatively vague description on how the settings impact the turn calculations. Would be good if Ag leader would publish a much more detailed description.
Ideally, you would get the combine to turn more in the opposite direction early and sharp, so that when it swings around, it’s heading straight in. | |
