Just to be sure. I won't be able to see a screen like this using a pro700 on a 7088 combine. Correct?
thanks
That is correct. You'll be able to see yield and moisture values and maps, guidance controls and maps, and Automatic Crop Settings if your machine is equipped with ACS. But no loss meters, live fan speed, live rotor speed, etc. If your machine isn't equipped with ACS, then the Pro700 is for yield/moisture and guidance only.
The Automatic Crop Settings window does have an "information" button that will show you your current saved setting and your current actual reading, but it's a snapshot, not a live reading. So if your Fan Speed setting is 1100 and your Current Fan Speed is 1000 when you open the information window, if you change your fan speed while the window is open, it will still read 1000 on the screen. You have to close and reopen the window to see the new fan speed. It's not designed to be a live reading, just a comparison of actual to saved. This applies to rotor, fan, concave, and sieves. ACS is a lot easier to use on the 88 series compared to the larger machines, but also not as powerful. |
