south dakota | For my family when I looked at bcbs insurance last year. (Too many restrictions for our situation with Christian health care). When I added up the premiums for each plan plus the max out of pocket it would have to pay each plan was then within $1000 of each other. With that being so we went with the high deductible with the lowest monthly cost. We went from $25 visit copays to paying 100 percent for each visit (up to our max deductible.). So if you happen to meet max deductible it does not matter what plan you choose it will be near the same in the end.
