| I trying to remember in 1978 when my father’s family sold my grandmother farm and auction company hired a D 6 dozer and I thinking it was about $45 an hour. I thinking the company they hire was a little high per hour maybe by $5 for the quality of work they done. But I was only 19 years old then.
My father in 1979 hired a guy with a John Deere 550 dozer for if my memory is right for $25 per hour. The work this guy did with the John Deere 550 dozer was light clearing small trees ( a lot of cedar trees ). Most of the stuff around 6 inches in diameter. | |
