West Central Indiana | As far as the erratic speed I don't know, but the variable speed shives are famous for not getting greased enough and then not moving smoothly with the spring tension. A tech told me many years ago to put the 2 grease zerks at the 12 & 2 O'clock positions and then the 12 needs 12 pumps and the 2 needs 2 pumps. If your not doing this it's not getting enough grease and binding up and smoking belts. | |
