If COOPs get too greedy, just cut them out. Build bins, buy from wholesalers, go to the rivers with grain and haul back fertilizer.
If you think hiring a coop to apply all your fertilizer needs, all your chemicals needs, so much so you only have to plant and combine, probably not gonna be sustainable long term.
