When picking corn our harvested acres are almost always off by a little bit. We have a 105 acre field, and it'll come back onto the display after uploading our yield data as like a 102. It does this for every field, 3% off or so. Only when the corn head is on though. When the draper head is on cutting milo or beans its dead on every time. Bushels always come out perfect in all crops when compared to scale tickets. Got the head height calibrated right. I'm at a lost what would be causing this acreage discrepancy. Any advice would be great. Case IH 7240 for what its worth.
Are you using GPS Speed or Wheel Speed. If wheel speed, did you do a Tire Radius Calibration? That's the equivalent of a distance cal. Area = Distance x Width, so one of those two is being measured incorrectly. |
