I picked up a 9250 with steerable front axle bout 20 years ago. A few years into it started having trouble with wiring for what you are experiencing. Had 3 techs play with it. None could really fix it it. In frustration, I ran a stand alone wire and simple on off switch for the fan, and a separate on off connection for the compressor. Since I did this, it works, just not as the engineers intended. KISS keep it simple stupid
