I have a AWS air bar on a JD auger head. Very satisfied. I fiddle with my reel through out the day depending on conditions, but I run the reel as far up as possible & as slow as possible. I wouldn’t want to cut beans without it!
AWS has direct drive. No gear box & very quiet.
