SC IA | What purpose does the little flapper at the bottom of the tube serve? It seems like it would terminate the flow too early and you'd never get fert to the full depth of the knife before the trench collapses. There's probably five or six inches of shank below that tube and I can't believe that these are meant to run that much deeper than you actually want the band. What am I missing? I've never applied dry this way so maybe I don't really understand how this stuff flows. Thanks.
