Don’t know if this helps with your question or not but I ripped a field for a share crop landowner last fall. Dry field conditions. He had roughly two 15 acre fields both going to corn this year. Same soils/fertility program/hybrids. The field that didn’t get ripped averaged 218 the ripped field went 210. I think it helps around tree lines for a short term fix but that’s it
