Northern Ohio Grain | You want to look at an air bar rather than an air reel. AWS is what I recommend. Have a friend with one on their draper and would not go back. Second fall with it helped him get it adjusted properly. Had the nozzles blowing in front of the knife. It was night and day difference after got it above the knife watching everything blow into the back of the draper belt.
Another with a Honeybee that is thinking real hard for next year.
After having one for 5 years, would not cut beans without one.
Shatter loss is one thing. You ever have years you have some short beans? It blows them in too instead of losing whole plants.
A dialed in auger head with air bar will leave less on the ground than a draper. Lots of fields around here this year that show drapers can leave alot.
