NW Illinois | I don’t believe there can be any true generics of “Zidua” in the US market until March 2025. There are 2 versions available that I wouldn’t call generic but sold by another company. Pirate and Annihilate are being sold by Tenkoz. Believe Annihilate was actually available in limited supply last year.
Here’s the rundown.
Annihilate, EPA reg. No. 279-3601-55467. FMC Authority Supreme EPA reg No. 279-3601. Annihilate is identical in active ingredients per gallon as Authority Supreme and is made in Illinois at FMC manufacturing site.
Pirate, EPA reg No.279-9670-55467. According to EPA site, FMC has a product with basically no name, with a EPA reg No. 279-9670. Pirate is a combo of Anthem Max premixed with atrazine.
I inquired on pricing a month ago and Pirate price made it identical to mixing FMC Anthem Max with generic atrazine at last year’s price point. I didn’t get a response on Annihilate.
Not sure today exactly what I see is the marketplace plan for these. No reason to buy Pirate if you can mix your own and have FMC products warranty and access low rate JDF financing. | |
