I grind them and blend them with grass hay, put on in the tub, next one is the other, layers like an oreo while grinding, when feeding out it blends the rest of the way decently without a TMR. Have good results with it here and when we dump some of our ground feed on top in the bunk, they clean it up really well. With enough hay I wouldn't bother, but those years when you don't(Like this one for me) the stalks get your hay pile through the finish line.
