Wisconsin | Water is not as big a deal as you might think. Everything to a house should be underground deep enough to keep from freezing. Yard hydrants shut off underground and drain, so mostly trouble free. Hoses have to be drained out, or else brought inside to thaw for hours before using again. Electric, or energy free waterers for livestock are a common topic here, lots of choices, not quite as reliable as house or yard hydrants. | |
