2,4-D + Dicamba now would be a good choice. 

Take a look at the field. If you have quackgrass, orchardgrass, fescue or other grasses growing, you still may benefit by adding glyphosate to the mix.

Clopyralid is a good herbicide to kill alfalfa, but I would not use it if you are rotating to soybeans next spring.
