Subject: RE: Decision on buying a sprayer

West Central Illinois
Around here pull type sprayers are an endangered species, quite frankly anybody doing their own is becoming fewer and farther between except the BTO's. It seems like there's a lot of value to be added by spraying your own at least from the discussions on here, why do you think everyone has moved towards having everything done custom? Around $11/acre around here and 3 to 4 spray passes getting more common on beans, 2 to 3 passes on corn, seems like there'd be money on the table to do your own with how tight margins are. Not too many even do their own anhydrous around here even sidedressing is starting to be done more as custom.
