Subject: Raven Flowback Valves vs non flowback

SW Iowa
I upgraded to a slightly better pull-type sprayer last year that had a 3-section shutoff with 3 Raven flowback valves. My previous sprayer was a 5-section shutoff with non-flowback valves. I added 2 non-flowback valves to this new sprayer to have a total of 5 shutoffs again. I noticed when the sprayer would turn off the outer 2 sections would keep dripping and run off, is this due to them being non-flowback and is that the advantage to flowback valves? At the time I didn't want to spend the money since I already had them but am beginning to wonder if this is the reason for so many weedy spots at the end of passes and turn rows.
