NC Iowa		Depends what you're talking about. ARC/PLC run a year behind as both require "marketing year" data so payments coming out now are for 2023. Unless your county saw significant loss you're not seeing a payment. For the 2024 crop year we'll have to see where prices end up. Based on current prices you'd get an ARC payment on corn with minor county losses.

What your friend may have been refering to is the Farm Act, proposed legislation. We'll see what it ends up looking like or even if it passes. I wouldn't get too excited at this point.
