Paxton, IL | It's really a fairly simple setup. Supply voltage to the sensor and an output of 0-5 volts depending on the position of the sensor.
Have you back-probed the wires at the sensor to verify the voltage the display is reporting? If it is indeed 2.4v regardless of feeling movement, you either have a mechanical issue in the feeler sensor assembly, a bad hall effect sensor that detects the movement of the feelers, or faulty wiring somewhere.
