Subject: RE: Non gmo/Organic

I'm not advocating for souley living off the land. I guess I'm more interesting in seeing these major corporations getting the screws put to them, along with these larger farms. I'd guess I'd like to see things more local. I like the ideal of more organic or non gmo products and less emphasis on all these new hybrids and chemicals and equipment that are suprosed to be latest and greatest things, making it easier for guys to farm an unlimited amount of acres while these companies charge a premium for their products. In mind it would create more opportunities for the small guys trying to grow and find their niche. I'm kind of tired of this greedy mentality that some farmers have that only a select few guys in areas are allowed farm and its their goal to farm everything. I think getting back to the basics would even the playing field a little and create opportunities and possibly more demand. I'm sure some will find my thoughts wrong, but when does enough become enough. I wish there was local markets in my are where I could capitalize on this. I don't understand why we need to farm thousands of acres in attempt to profitable.
