Very similar results here but we run all preplant anhydrous plus some more nitrogen 2x2 with planter. Kill your off just like you also. If you run a vertical till pass it will yield with everything else. No idea what that little bit of tillage does but makes the corn yield. If we have an extremely dry spring into June you can get it to yield the same but much rain at all and the rye literally trys to kill the corn.
