sc ks | Tesla likely was a red herring. Their big profit beat was largely from selling carbon credits. Ironically, the other auto makers had to buy more than expected because their EV sales missed. And who has lots of credits to sell? The company that makes only EVs. So the EV stock ripped because EV sales sucked for the EV industry. And the rest of us get to buy those credits via higher car prices. What a time to be alive.
